Casey Anthony – Not Guilty
The trial of Casey Anthony has been concluded and the jury found her not guilty according to our laws of deliberation and findings. Unfortunately our laws of Jurisprudence system that our country was founded on; the public is not satisfied with therefore it is suddenly no good. The problem with those blabber mouths and pundits is if they happen to find themselves in a similar situation they will pray to God that they get their day in court and their right of being innocent until proven guilty is given to them. Everyone must have their day in court.
The adamant people who are livid over this decision are usually the ones who are guided most by listening to all the news media and pundits that have fried and cooked Casey so well done that she bounces off the floor. They have as much knowledge of our Jurisprudence system of trial by jury as the man in the moon. Yet they accuse and convict a person before any real evidence is presented, before they are tried in a court of law and given their rights as everyone who is an American citizen must have, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion however when that makes a mockery of a system that has been in existence from day one; and a system that they will welcome with open arms if they find themselves in a position to need it. Then there is the tremendous animosity and anger to the jury who served, listened and deliberated to reach a true and just verdict according to the law, regardless of personal liking or disliking of the individual.
These quotes from the man who wrote the American Constitution seem to end the thread:
“It is more dangerous that even a guilty person should be punished without the forms of law, than that he should escape.” –Thomas Jefferson to W. Carmichael, 1788.
“”Better one hundred guilty men go free than one innocent man be condemned.” – Thomas Jefferson.
These words of extraordinary wisdom are resounding and emphatically correct.
So rather than excoriate the jury, the judge, the attorneys and the justice system of this free country we love and live in, we should glory in the fact that everything in the case was totally conducted according to the forms of jurisprudence law, and that whatever the outcome, if indeed she is guilty, it is better that she should escape than that she should be punished under any other inferior and/or one sided system.
But for some unknown reason none of this sinks into the heads of those who are so angered by the juries deliberated outcome; simply because it does not agree with their thoughts or ideas. And it is unbelievable that they call the system unjust and cry that justice was not served in this matter. Justice was not served according to whom? Justice was not served because you feel it was improper? Who made you the guardian of our jurisprudence system? Better yet who made you God?
Voice your opinion all you want for it is the same Constitution that gives you the right to do just that, must also give the person on trial the right to be judged by a jury of their peers. This is one thing that is not understood by all these angered people, in all of this is the fact that the jury did not say that Casey was adjudged innocent of any involvement in Caylee’s death. A not guilty verdict only states that the prosecution failed to prove their case against the accused.
Regardless of anyone’s opinion we must all embrace this verdict for it is delivered by the greatest trial by jury system in the world and in the greatest country in the world.
This is a high profile case and so the public gets involved and opinions run wild in every mind that watched the case in the news. The news media assassinated Casey Anthony (she did give them good reason) and her attorneys; so all those listening were swayed by that. Anger built up in the folks who could not fathom how a mother could have so much neglect for her child. In addition as things evolved it was how could a mother know her child is missing or dead and still lie about where she was and continued to party. This enraged the public since Caylee’s picture (an adorable child) was often shown.
All of these things and even more pointed to Casey’s inability to do anything right. She is a pathological liar and has no idea of right from wrong. Anyone who says she is intelligent is as off the wall as she is. If she had an ounce of brains she would know that most of her lies could not cut butter with a sharp knife. But then how can anyone be in the mind of such a dirty mouthed bitch with a high regard for partying and as she had it etched on her shoulder “Bella Vita”. (In Italian meaning: attractive life).
That being said; all of it does not prove that she is a murderer. None of it proves that a murder was committed. That is why a not guilty verdict was reached. Circumstantial evidence is the most difficult to prove and convict. In this case that was not even that good. It simply seemed that all was conjecture based on credible and not credible testimony.
The prosecution could not prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt but also went too far overboard with their attempt to sway the jury to completely hate Casey Anthony and believe their painted scenario put together with paste. The prosecutor showed that he belonged in Hollywood (tinsel town) as he went on and on telling the jury every move and motivation of Casey Anthony. He described things happening that no one could know except the person that is there. So all of this conjecture was just that; a lot of conjecture. It was definitely fantasizing and an assumed scenario with embellishment beyond ones comprehension. All of this to sway the jury in his favor because the evidence was not there by a long shot and reasonable doubt was running rampant. This overzealous presentation with the lowering and raising of the voice to make the point deep and cause the listener to almost come to tears was not effective in fact very possibly more ineffective. Especially when he solemnly said “and Caylee’s body—(pause and lower the voice) -–was in the trunk”. That could have won an academy award. However he did contradict himself when (while Casey was supposed to be away lying to her mother) he stated that Casey came to her parent’s house and went next door to borrow a shovel. Then went into the back yard intending to bury Caylee there but found it too hard so she returned the shovel. Apparently there was a camera there to document all this! What a vivid imagination. It doesn’t equate?
Her father who is a retired policeman suddenly has a complete loss of memory when asked questions on the stand. He is trained to remember and properly testify in court. His lie that he had no relations with the woman he supposedly was consoling when he continuously visited her, was openly rejected and confessed to by her. That lie in itself gave credence to the woman’s testimony that he told her, “This was an accident that snowballed out of control”, referring to Caylee’s death.
Then there was the unexplainable and the unbelievable introduced. Who could believe either a mother or a grandparent could drop their daughter or granddaughter in a swamp area where animals and other creatures will gnaw and eat away her small and precious body. One can understand an accidental death and an attempt to cover it because the accident was caused by an individual. But the duct tape and the dumping of a body like garbage cannot be fathomed. It could be that another was paid to dispose of the body and no one knew where it was until it was found? Could be, would be, is or is not, it all comes down to plain conjecture and assumptions.
Who could figure the phone calls from Casey to her parents made from jail? Other than showing Casey’s smart mouth with the “F” word halitosis, nothing made any sense. But the father never talked to her. I believe the mother knew less than all. But with all of them being superb liars, one can never know.
The only sober and extremely sharp meticulous person in that trial was the Judge (and rightfully so) who did not miss a trick and was in complete control all of the time. He looked and talked slowly, seemingly not very smart or quick but if you listened, words of wisdom came out and they were always completely understandable. He was thorough in everything he did or was called upon to judge. To be honest he stole the whole show, using that terminology with great care.
Everybody makes more about the chloroform and the hair than it was. There was such a very little trace of chloroform that it could have been there for months before Caylee was missing. By the same token the hair also could have been there for a long time and from a number of things like Caylee’s clothes or a blanket. So what else is new about the prosecutions great evidence; the gas can!!!
There is no proof that a murder was committed. There is no proof of how Caylee died. There are no fingerprints on anything. The smell test was inconclusive and no proof that Caylee was ever in the trunk. So what is there for the jury to convict this girl of murder of any degree? NOTHING WHATSOEVER…… except the vivid imagination of the prosecution and the scenario they made up from all the inaccurate and inconclusive testimony. Thank God we have the best trial by jury system in the world. Love it, embrace it and never forsake it for you will never know; the day may come that you desperately need it to work for you.
