The event, which is sponsored by the Department of the Navy, will be held on May 7, 2012 at 1100 hrs (9 p.m. EST) at the Pentagon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. A reception with dessert will follow the screening.
Donald Marcari is one of the original Judge Advocate General?s Corps (JAG) attorneys upon whom Tom Cruise?s character, Navy lawyer Lt. Daniel Kaffee, was based. He will provide background on the case that inspired the movie and introduce the screening to Navy personnel and civilian attendees.
